The main trial in the corruption case Dozimetr continues at the District Court for Prague 9. On Tuesday, Adam Scheinherr from the Prague Sobě movement was called as a witness. At the time of the alleged corruption in public procurement awards, he held the position of deputy for transport at Prague's municipal authority and chaired the supervisory board of the Public Transport Company of the City of Prague.
Before the court, Scheinherr described the moment he decided to report the entire matter to police. He stated that he was subjected to pressure in connection with tender proceedings at the transport company.
The Dozimetr case concerns alleged manipulation of public procurement at the Public Transport Company of the City of Prague. The investigation uncovered a network of relationships between politicians, officials and businessmen who allegedly influenced the outcomes of tenders. The case is among the most significant corruption cases in Prague in recent years.
