The Regional Court in Plzen sent an eight-member group of people who manufactured and distributed kilograms of methamphetamine in the Carlsbad region to prison at the turn of 2022 and 2023. The judges imposed prison sentences on the accused, the total of which amounts to fifty years.
The members of the gang participated, according to the verdict, in the production and distribution of methamphetamine in the region. The case concerned the period at the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023. The court did not disclose the specific length of individual sentences.
The verdict has not yet become legally binding. The accused may appeal against it.
