A teacher from Čelákovice, whom police are prosecuting for dangerous threats, has had his firearm licence suspended by authorities. In June, a large-scale search was launched for him and the investigation was taken over by Central Bohemian regional crime investigators. The latest development was confirmed by police spokeswoman Barbora Schneeweissová, as reported by Lidovky.cz.
Police have accused the man of the criminal offence of dangerous threats. This offence carries a maximum prison sentence of up to three years under the law. In connection with the case, several firearms were also seized from him.
Police have not yet released further details about the case. The investigation is ongoing.
