The incident occurred on Monday. Police were called to a flat in Tuřany in the afternoon hours. At the scene, they found the bodies of two persons – a woman and a man. The investigation showed that it was a domestic tragedy, in which the man first killed his partner and subsequently took his own life.
According to police information, there was no further danger to the surrounding area in connection with this case. The case was classified as murder followed by suicide. Criminal investigators carried out standard procedures, including examination of the crime scene and interviews with witnesses.
As the perpetrator is deceased, he cannot be prosecuted. Police will therefore close the case. The police did not provide further details about the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
