Disorder in Jihlavsko region: police seek white VW Passat, witnesses can assist with dashcam footage

Jihlavska.drbna.cz reports that police officers from the district station in Polná are investigating a case of disturbance that occurred on Wednesday 30 September in the afternoon in the Jihlavsko region. The victim was a person of senior age, who according to police is a particularly vulnerable victim.
Regional police spokeswoman Dana Čírtková appealed to the public for assistance. Witnesses who were present on road II/602 between the villages of Vysoké Studnice and Řehořov between 15:00 and 16:00 hours could possess crucial information. Police officers are specifically interested in a white personal vehicle parked on a turnoff to a forest in the cadastral area of the village Věžnice.
"It could be a Volkswagen Passat vehicle, which was being driven by a man as yet unidentified, who was around the vehicle after three o'clock in the afternoon. He then left the scene," said spokeswoman Čírtková.
There is also interest in drivers equipped with dashcams, whose recordings could have captured the sought vehicle in the said section. All information can be reported on the emergency line 158.
"Your testimony could significantly help in clarifying the incident being investigated, which for tactical reasons cannot be specified in more detail at this time. We are very grateful for any possible assistance," added Čírtková, noting that police are not releasing further details of the case at present.
