Drugged man found lying outside Brno railway station with hundreds of thousands in cash
Municipal officers in Brno intervened last week with a man who was lying on the pavement in front of the main railway station. The unit established that the man in question was apparently under the influence of narcotic substances.
Because of the man's aggressive behaviour, the officers had to assist with his transport to a healthcare facility. During transport, it emerged that he was carrying a very large sum of cash and payment cards that did not belong to him.
The case was taken over by the Czech Republic Police, who are investigating the circumstances of the entire incident. Investigators are focusing on the source of the money and the identity of the owners of the payment cards found.
