Police officers from Šlapanické on the Brno region stopped a fifty-year-old man last Wednesday who was fleeing in a borrowed Audi A6 Avant. He was driving under the influence of narcotics and had three valid driving bans. During reckless driving, he reached speeds of up to 200 kilometres per hour before crashing into a barrier.

This case is not isolated for the man. In just the past month, this is already the second encounter by Šlapanické police with this driver under the influence of drugs behind the wheel. The previous incident occurred not long before this one.
