A thirty-nine-year-old man robbed a sleeping person on a bench in Denisovy Sady in Brno. The city police's camera system captured the entire act, and the guards quickly apprehended the perpetrator.

A thirty-nine-year-old man took advantage of the deep sleep of an unknown man on a bench in Denisovy Sady in the centre of Brno on Sunday afternoon. The perpetrator rifled through the sleeping man's pockets and stole a wallet from one of them.
The entire act was observed by staff at the city police's surveillance centre via the camera system. Operators immediately directed the nearest patrol to the scene of the crime. City guards apprehended the thief and handed him over to the national police for further investigation.
"The suspect was handed over to the State Police," confirmed the city police spokesperson.
