In Halle (Saale), a 23-year-old man attacked two fellow passengers on a tram of line 7. The incident occurred in the morning at around eight o'clock near Große Ulrichstraße. According to police, the suspect pushed one of the injured parties with his hands before striking another passenger in the face.
Both victims sustained minor injuries. After the attacker left the tram at Marktplatz, officers were able to apprehend him nearby.
Investigations into assault are ongoing. In the course of police measures, the 23-year-old was taken to a municipal hospital for medical treatment. Police initially provided no further details about the course of events.
