Based on witness information, police provisionally arrested two men on Sunday: a 29-year-old in Delmenhorst and a 43-year-old in Bremen. Both are considered prime suspects. Officers also seized a BMW in Bremen, which is believed to be the suspects' alleged getaway vehicle – a witness stated that the men involved in the altercation had fled in this car.
A third suspect turned himself in to police on Monday. Due to lack of grounds for detention, all three men were subsequently released from custody. The background to the altercation remains unclear. Police are investigating on suspicion of aggravated assault.
