In the murder case involving eight-year-old Fabian from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, an officer testified before the Rostock regional court about how the body was discovered. The 30-year-old main suspect Gina H. informed the emergency responders independently and then led them to the body of water near Klein Upahl, where the lifeless body of the child lay.

The police officer stated that he was the first officer on the scene. The defendant and a companion said at the time that they had been walking with dogs when they came across the body. The woman led the officers directly to the location where it was found.

Gina H. is being investigated for murder. The boy went missing in April near Güstrow. Numerous pieces of evidence incriminate the 30-year-old, who has so far refused to give any testimony in court. The defence submitted a request for psychiatric assessment.
