During the night, emergency services in Berlin-Charlottenburg had to respond to an incident in which an apparently confused or aggressive man attacked passers-by. The confrontation took place in Nehringstraße, where the suspect allegedly threw stones and pieces of wood at pedestrians, according to eyewitnesses.

Fortunately, no one suffered injuries in the attack. When the patrol finally confronted the man in Seelingstraße, he refused to cooperate and resisted arrest.

Thereupon, one of the officers decided to use an electroshock device. He first warned the resistant man emphatically about the impending measure and then activated the device. The shock allowed the man to be apprehended more easily.

Subsequently, the officers took him to a hospital, where he was placed under medical supervision. According to authorities, this step was carried out as standard procedure following such an intervention.
