Two bodies have been discovered in a residential area of Bremen. Investigators are treating the case as a violent crime and are searching for a fugitive suspect.

Two people died on Friday in a district of Bremen. Officers found a man with fatal cuts and stab wounds on a pavement. In the basement of a residential building nearby lay a woman who had also been murdered.
Passers-by noticed the lifeless body of the man in the Fähr-Lobbendorf district at around 14:00 and called the emergency services. Medical assistance came too late for him. Shortly afterwards, police officers discovered the second body.
The circumstances of the crime remain unclear. A specialised murder investigation unit took over the case. According to authorities' assessment, the general public is not currently in danger.
