As Google News DE — Crime (de) reports, on Friday morning (21 August, between 10:35 and 11:00) previously unknown persons broke into a residential house on Erphostraße in Münster-Mauritz. They subsequently fled in a car.
An alert neighbour observed two men loading items into a waiting vehicle and then driving off in the direction of Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring. He then alerted the police.
Shortly afterwards, the Unna police received witness reports: a car with fresh collision damage and a burst tyre was standing on a hard shoulder of Nordlippestraße in Werne. Three persons had fled the vehicle. An immediate search involving police dogs and the police helicopter squadron proved unsuccessful.
Officers secured the damaged vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
The fled men are said to have been between 16 and 25 years old and wearing black clothing. One was approximately 1.90 metres tall, another approximately 1.75 metres tall.
