Woman abducted from Aldi car park in Bielefeld – police appeal for witnesses
Three men forced an injured woman into a red small car in a supermarket car park. Bielefeld police are investigating a possible abduction.
Abduction in Bielefeld: witnesses see woman forced into car
Witnesses on the car park of an Aldi store in Bielefeld observed on Tuesday evening last week at around 18:45 how three men forced a woman into a red small car of older model and drove away. Police are investigating a possible abduction.
Earlier, a man is said to have dragged the woman into a bush on Amtmann-Bullrich-Straße/corner of Heinrich-Mügge-Weg. When the woman – approximately 25 to 30 years old – emerged from the bush, she was bleeding from her face and had bruises on her neck according to BILD. According to the information, an important piece of evidence was secured in the bush; police did not provide further details about this.
The car, bearing Gütersloh registration plates, then drove in the direction of Ostring, according to a police spokesman. A witness alerted the authorities, but despite an immediate search the vehicle remained missing.
Police press spokeswoman Hella Christoph told BILD: "At the present time we have no hot leads, but the investigation is continuing in all directions. We are taking this tip very seriously."
Description of the alleged victim and suspects
The alleged abduction victim had brown, long, curly and loose hair. She wore a beige-coloured jumper, light blue trousers and black and white trainers and presumably had a nose piercing.
Police have the following descriptions of the three men:
- First man: Mediterranean appearance, approximately 40 years old, blonde-brown shoulder-length hair, greyish beard. Clothing: green waistcoat, camouflage trousers, slip-ons without socks.
- Second man: Mediterranean appearance, approximately 55 years old, very short-cropped grey hair. Clothing: long dark blue jeans, black Adidas bum bag.
- Third man: dark-skinned, short brown hair. Clothing: black T-shirt, grey jogging bottoms.
Police seek two female witnesses
The incident is also said to have been observed by two elderly women with shopping trolleys who subsequently entered the supermarket. Police are seeking these two individuals as important witnesses.
