A jogger discovered the 60-year-old in a park in the Poppenbüttel district early on Saturday morning and alerted the police. Because the deceased showed signs of violence, the murder squad took over the investigation.
That same evening, police arrested a 22-year-old German woman as the suspect. An arrest warrant was issued on suspicion of murder with the aggravating factor of treachery. The young woman has been in custody since then.
