On Sybelstraße, officers arrested the man. According to police, he offered considerable resistance during the arrest. At the direction of the public prosecutor's office, the man's vehicle and flat were subsequently searched.
Officers found a bag containing cash in the four-digit range in the car. In the discarded bag, initial findings showed approximately one kilogramme of suspected cocaine. The vehicle, driving licence and further evidence were secured.
The 37-year-old was taken into police custody. On the course of Saturday, he was to be brought before an investigating magistrate, who will decide on the issuance of an arrest warrant for investigation.
