Knife attack at Munich central bus station: 55-year-old injured, one suspect fleeing
A 55-year-old was injured with a stabbing weapon to the neck at the Central Bus Station on Arnulfstraße. Police arrested one of two attackers; the second remains at large.

On Thursday evening, a 55-year-old man was injured with a stabbing weapon at the Central Bus Station on Arnulfstraße in Munich. According to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, the incident began around 22:00 with a dispute between the victim and two unknown men.
The conflict initially escalated with punches to the face. Subsequently, one of the attackers stabbed with a pointed object towards the 55-year-old's neck and head, leaving him slightly injured.
Both perpetrators fled after the attack. Uninvolved witnesses alerted emergency services, following which police were able to arrest one of the attackers shortly thereafter near the scene of the crime. The secured object turned out to be a sharpened piece of wood.
The second perpetrator, who is said to have wielded a knife, remains at large. According to police, the background to the dispute is still unclear.
