A 34-year-old woman drove intoxicated through Fürstenfeldbruck on Monday evening with three small children in the car. A witness alerted the police, who recorded a breath alcohol level of 1.9 per mille.

Intoxicated mother with children stopped in Fürstenfeldbruck

A 34-year-old woman was on the road in Fürstenfeldbruck on Monday evening with three children in the car and a breath alcohol level of approximately 1.9 per mille. This is reported by the Süddeutsche Zeitung citing the police.

At around 22.05 hours, a witness reported to the police a car with conspicuous driving behaviour on the B 471 between Olching and Fürstenfeldbruck. Officers from Fürstenfeldbruck police station subsequently pulled over the vehicle in Höhenringstraße.

During the check, the officers established that the driver was significantly intoxicated. A breath alcohol test showed a reading of around 1.9 per mille. On the back seat were her three children aged one, three and eight years.

The 34-year-old was taken to Fürstenfeldbruck police station, where she was given a blood test. The officers confiscated her driving licence. Her three children were picked up by a relative in the meantime.

The police are now investigating for driving under the influence of alcohol.
