The 31-year-old German attacked the police officers and attempted to snatch the service weapon from one of the officers. Three police officers sustained minor injuries. During the subsequent search of the flat, officers secured additional weapons.
Meanwhile, on Magdeburg's Ring, a dispute between two motorists escalated. The men reportedly cut each other off in traffic. When one of them got out, a 26-year-old drew a blank-firing weapon. There were no injuries in this case.
