An 18-year-old and a 20-year-old have been remanded in custody for two weeks for attempted murder of a 19-year-old in Nykøbing Sjælland. The victim was stabbed with a knife and struck with an axe on 20 May.
Two remanded in custody following knife and axe attack
An 18-year-old and a 20-year-old man have been remanded in custody for two weeks on suspicion of attempted murder of a 19-year-old in Nykøbing Sjælland, according to the prosecution at Mid- and West Zealand Police, as reported by DR Nyheder.
The 19-year-old was attacked on 20 May by four people armed with a knife, axe and brass knuckles. He was stabbed in the side of the abdomen and struck in the head with an axe.
Two weeks ago, a 21-year-old man was remanded in custody for four weeks in connection with the same case. He denied guilt at the bail hearing.
The prosecution has not disclosed how the two most recently detained individuals relate to the charges.
