Two inmates escaped on Thursday from Kragskovhede Prison in North Jutland, according to DR Nyheder. North Jutland Police are now seeking information about the whereabouts of the two men.
The two prisoners are aged 19 and 24 respectively and were both held in the prison's open ward. They were serving sentences for assault and violent crime of two years and three years and nine months, according to Thomas Ottesen, the police duty officer.
The surrounding area has already been searched without results. "It is really only imagination that sets limits on how far they have got," says Ottesen.
Police warn the public against making contact with the two men, but emphasise that they are not assessed as dangerous.
