Teenager arrested for murder of taxi driver Feliz Valentín in Santo Domingo Este
A 17-year-old youth was arrested as one of four people implicated in the death of taxi driver Feliz Valentín during a robbery on 16 October on Avenida de las Américas.

According to a report by elnacional.com.do, the National Police arrested a 17-year-old adolescent identified as one of four people implicated in the death of taxi driver Feliz Valentín Casalinovo Trinidad, 48 years old, which occurred on 16 October on Avenida de las Américas in the municipality of Santo Domingo Este.
The incident took place whilst the victim was carrying out his duties as a taxi driver under the pedestrian overpass in the sector. Police spokesperson Diego Pesqueira confirmed that the arrest was executed through order 2026-AJ0091035, as a result of investigations into the crime.
Three other individuals, identified by the aliases "Juan el Fantasma", "Maclen" and "La Leyenda", are also named as suspects in the case. The Police continue investigations to locate them and bring them before the Public Ministry.
