Man arrested in Santo Domingo North for robbery of mobile phone from minor captured on camera
The National Police detained Alifer Junior López Malena, alias "Alife", 21 years old, accused of stealing a telephone from a minor in Santo Domingo North.

According to diariolibre.com, the National Police arrested a man on Tuesday who was wanted for the robbery of a mobile telephone from a minor, an incident that went viral on social media.
The detainee was identified as Alifer Junior López Malena, alias "Alife", 21 years old. He was captured in the Ponce sector of Los Guaricanos, in the municipality of Santo Domingo North.
According to an institutional press release, Alifer was recorded by a security camera travelling on a pasola at the moment he snatched the device from the minor's hands.
"During investigation and search operations, officers managed to locate and arrest Alife, as well as recover the stolen mobile telephone, a ZTE brand device, black in colour," the National Police stated.
