The National Police detained Frailin Cedeño García on Saturday following his arrival on a flight from the United States, according to diariolibre.com. The man was wanted by Dominican authorities under a judicial arrest warrant for his alleged participation in a murder case recorded in La Altagracia province.
Upon arriving in the country, Cedeño García was processed at the Vacacional de Haina and subsequently handed over to members of the National Police's Fugitives Department, in coordination with the National Central Bureau of Interpol Santo Domingo and the General Directorate of Migration.
Against him stands judicial arrest warrant and conduct order No. 00107-2023, issued on 9 January 2023 by the Second Instruction Court serving as Judicial Office of Permanent Care Services of the Judicial District of La Altagracia. The warrant corresponds to a violation of article 295 of the Dominican Penal Code, relating to the murder of Juan Alexander Lake Abreu.
