Police seek seven men for homicides and attempted homicides in Santiago
The National Police are pursuing seven people in Santiago linked to homicides and attempted homicides in various sectors of the province.
Seven wanted for acts of violence in Santiago province
The National Police have seven men in their sights in Santiago province for their alleged involvement in multiple acts of violence, some resulting in death and others with injured victims, according to diariolibre.com.
According to the Central Cibao Regional Directorate, those wanted are being pursued through judicial arrest orders and, in at least one case, in fulfilment of an already-issued sentence.
Among those sought is Jerson Then Rojas, alias "Pato", aged 29. Against him arrest order number 2026-AJ0073424-001 was issued on 25 August 2026 for his alleged involvement in the aggravated homicide of Ramón de León Pérez, known as "Neo", which occurred on 16 August.
Johan Alexander Valdez Cabrera, alias "El Pancho", aged 21, is wanted for his alleged participation in an attempted homicide against Benllu Cabrera Rodríguez, Brandy Tavarez and Darlin Miguel Tavárez Domínguez, which occurred on 1 July.
Erinson Manuel Hernández Reyes, alias "El Gordo", also aged 21, is identified by the authorities for his alleged involvement in the death of Víctor Manuel Espinal Luna, known as "Vitico", on 7 August.
Eduardo Paul Pérez Mercado, alias "Maca", aged 39, is sought for his alleged participation in the homicide of Jesús María Cabrera Peña, which occurred on José Antonio Hungría street.
Christopher Eugenio Acevedo Metz, alias "Christopher La Rabia", aged 36, is the only one of the seven whose responsibility was established through judicial sentence—number 371-04-2024-SSEN-00050, dated 23 February 2024—in a homicide case.
Maicol Miguel Jiménez, alias "Maikito", is wanted for his alleged participation in an attempted homicide against Yordy Manuel Díaz Rivera, alias "Mello", which occurred on 31 August.
The seventh wanted person is Víctor González Martínez, identified for his alleged participation in a case of homicide, torture and barbarism, rape and arson against Yulenny Carolina Frías León, which occurred on 29 March 2026 in the municipality of Sabana Iglesia.
The National Police urged the seven wanted individuals to surrender through the means they consider appropriate in order to answer to the authorities. The institution also requested that anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these individuals communicate it confidentially to the competent authorities.
