Police identifies suspect in robbery where wife of Julián Oro Duro died
The National Police identified Kevin Daniel Germán Troncoso as a suspect in the robbery at the home of merengue artist Julián Oro Duro, where his wife died.

According to ultimasnoticias.com.do, the National Police, in coordination with the Public Ministry, formally identified on Tuesday one of the alleged perpetrators of the robbery that took place at the residence of merengue artist Gilberto Julián Sarante Perdomo, known artistically as Julián Oro Duro. His wife, Zeneida Socorro Castillo, died in the incident.
The suspect is Kevin Daniel Germán Troncoso, identified by authorities as a criminal with a known record. A formal arrest warrant was issued against him.
Investigations by the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DICRIM) established that Germán Troncoso was part of the group that broke into the couple's residence, located in the Brisa Oriental VI sector, during the afternoon of Sunday and the early morning hours of Monday.
Call to surrender
The National Police issued a direct appeal to Germán Troncoso to present himself before authorities through whatever means he considers appropriate, so that he may answer for the facts attributed to him and to prevent further incidents.
The institution reiterated its commitment to ensuring the case does not go unpunished and to guaranteeing that all those involved are brought to justice in the Dominican Republic.
