The National Police is maintaining an active search for seven people allegedly linked to homicide and attempted homicide cases that occurred between March and August 2026 in Santiago and other municipalities in the province, according to listindiario.com.
The Central Cibao Regional Directorate clarified that each of those sought faces a current court order, and in one of the cases, a sentence already issued by the courts.
Among those wanted is Jerson Then Rojas, alias "Pato", 29 years old. Against him is an arrest warrant issued on 25 August 2026 for his alleged participation in the aggravated homicide of Ramón de León Pérez, known as "Neo", on 16 August.
Johan Alexander Valdez Cabrera, alias "El Pancho", 21 years old, is wanted for an attempted homicide that occurred on 1 July against Benllu Cabrera Rodríguez, Brandy Tavarez and Darlin Miguel Tavarez Domínguez.
Erinson Manuel Hernández Reyes, alias "El Gordo", also 21 years old, is allegedly linked to the homicide of Víctor Manuel Espinal Luna, alias "Vitico", recorded on 7 August.
Eduardo Paul Pérez Mercado, alias "Maca", 39 years old, is wanted for his alleged participation in the death of Jesús María Cabrera Peña, which occurred on José Antonio Hungría street. Christopher Eugenio Acevedo Metz, alias "Christopher La Rabia", 36 years old, is the only case in which the authorities point to a sentence already established, corresponding to a homicide on 23 February 2024.
Maicol Miguel Jiménez, alias "Maikito", appears on the list for an attempted homicide against Yordy Manuel Díaz Rivera, known as "Mello", which occurred on 31 August.
The seventh wanted person is Víctor González Martínez, allegedly linked to an incident on 29 March 2026 in the municipality of Sabana Iglesia. The accusations against him include homicide, torture and barbarism, rape and arson, against Yulenny Carolina Frías León.
The police urged those sought to surrender voluntarily to the judicial authorities. They also requested that anyone with information about the whereabouts of the wanted persons report it confidentially to the competent authorities.
