Three men with active arrest warrants voluntarily surrendered on Friday to the National Police in San Juan de la Maguana, according to n.com.do. The surrender was processed through the Western Regional Office and the Investigation Department (DICRIM), with the presence of family members and legal representatives of those involved.

The three individuals identified are José Luis Lara, alias "Kimkon", aged 21; Ronny Nolasco Ibert, alias "Cañoso", aged 22; and Maiky Contreras García, aged 30.

Lara and Nolasco Ibert were wanted under arrest warrant number 1498-2026, linked to an investigation into alleged violation of article 224 of the Dominican Penal Code to the detriment of a citizen. Contreras García, for his part, was being sought under warrant number 1554-2026, related to armed robbery committed on public roads to the detriment of a citizen.

The surrender occurs in the context of the call made by the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, who publicly urged all persons with active arrest warrants to present themselves to justice voluntarily.

The three were placed in police custody and will be turned over to the Public Prosecutor's office for the corresponding legal proceedings, in accordance with due process.

The National Police reiterated the call to those who have pending judicial requirements to surrender through established channels and appear before the competent authorities.
