Three men with arrest warrants surrender to National Police in San Juan
Three men wanted under arrest warrants voluntarily surrendered on Friday to the National Police in San Juan de la Maguana, accompanied by family members and legal representatives, according to acento.com.do.
Those who surrendered were identified as José Luis Lara, alias 'Kimkon', 21 years old; Ronny Nolasco Ibert, alias 'Cañoso', 22; and Maiky Contreras García, 30 years old.
The surrender was carried out through the Western Regional Directorate and the Criminal Investigation Department (DICRIM) of the National Police.
Lara and Nolasco Ibert were wanted under arrest warrant number 1498-2026, linked to an investigation into the alleged violation of Article 224 of the Dominican Penal Code to the detriment of a woman.
Contreras García, for his part, was being sought under warrant number 1554-2026, related to an investigation into armed robbery in a public place to the detriment of a citizen.
The three remained in police custody and will be placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal purposes.
The National Police reiterated its call to all persons wanted by the justice system to surrender through institutional channels and appear before the competent authorities.
