The incident occurred at the corner of Antonio Parra Velasco and Teodoro Alvarado Oleas avenues.
A motorcycle police officer patrolling the area noticed the robbery and approached the location. Upon noticing the presence of the uniformed officer, the suspect released the victim, boarded a black vehicle and fled.
The officer immediately began pursuit, to which other police officers joined in the operation. A video from the officer's body camera shows how he waited for the passage of the automobile and, when the driver did not stop, fired several times at the vehicle.
