According to elmercurio.com.ec, the National Police reported on 30 September the results of a deployment in Morona Santiago province, carried out under operations Apollo 13 and Zero Impunity. Prevention, investigation, and intelligence units participated in the actions at various points across the provincial territory.

The interventions form part of the so-called 3D Operational Strategy, through which the institution seeks to weaken, disorganise, and dismantle criminal structures.

Among the adults arrested is Silvero W. W., aged 64, of Ecuadorian nationality, who has a record for cattle rustling. Also apprehended were Carlos A. A. W., aged 24, and Edgar A. T. T., aged 23, both Ecuadorian and with no prior convictions. Additionally, two Ecuadorian adolescents aged 15 and 17 were detained during the operation.

Among the evidence reported are 2,470 cocaine doses, 14 cannabis doses, cash, two mobile phones, and a scale.

The Police also reported the recovery of two motorcycles and one mobile phone. Another three motorcycles were retained for investigative purposes, and 12 more were retained for lacking proper documentation.

During the operation, two boa constrictors were also rescued and one deportation notice was recorded.
