A drunk man at a gathering in Klooga got into an argument, during which a 37-year-old man damaged a vehicle's window with the grip of a starting pistol. Police responded to the scene with a large contingent.

Yesterday evening around 21:00, police received a report that a man had opened fire at a car on Ring Street in the town of Klooga. Upon arriving at the scene, it became clear that it was not actually a shooting — the man had instead broken the car's glass with the grip of a starting pistol.
Lennart Kams, head of the West-Harju patrol unit, said that any incidents involving weapons are a top priority for law enforcement. For this reason, a large team was dispatched to the scene.
The investigation revealed that the group present at the scene had consumed alcohol. An argument broke out between two men aged 37 and 44. The younger of the two grabbed the starting pistol and struck the vehicle's driver window with it. It was not possible to fire the weapon because it was missing a magazine and the trigger did not function.
Police officers took the intoxicated 37-year-old man into custody and transported him to a sobering-up facility. The investigation continues to determine exactly what happened and what the consequences will be.
