Tartu circuit court annulled the district court's earlier ruling and decided that murderer Daniel Kaasik, who had been released on electronic monitoring, must return to prison due to new violations of the law.
According to the higher court's ruling, which has not yet come into force, the man must serve four years, 11 months and 25 days. A month earlier, Tartu district court had decided that Kaasik did not have to serve his sentence again, but the circuit court reached a different conclusion.
