Drug charges resulting in lengthy prison sentence concluded in Harju County Court
On Tuesday afternoon, 4 August, Harju County Court approved an agreement concluded by the prosecutor and 36-year-old Kristel. The woman admitted guilt in the unlawful handling of several different types of narcotic and psychotropic substances. The court imposed a combined sentence of eight years and four months imprisonment.
The amount of narcotics found on property belonging to Kristel would have been sufficient to induce intoxication in at least 197 individuals. During the proceedings, the woman also spoke before the court about her personal difficult experiences in dealing with addiction.
