According to Delfi.ee, police are seeking a man who on 26 May at 14.41 hit a nine-year-old boy with an electric e-scooter on A. H. Tammsaare Street in Tallinn.
After the collision, the boy fell. Instead of helping the child, the man began shouting and left the scene. The boy called an ambulance himself and was taken to hospital for examination. Fortunately, his injuries turned out to be minor.
Police emphasised that in the event of a traffic accident, everyone has an obligation to remain at the scene and ensure that the victim receives help. Police particularly condemned the man's shouting at the child and leaving him alone.
Witnesses are asked to report information about the incident on telephone 612 5693 or by email [email protected]. Police also expect that the man involved in the incident should contact the police himself. In emergencies, the number to call is 112.
