Police search for missing Rauli in Põlvamaa – man may be dangerous
Police are searching for 36-year-old Rauli, who went missing in Erastvere village in Kanepi municipality and ran into the forest on Saturday. The man may behave unpredictably and is potentially dangerous.
Missing man has hidden himself in the forest near Erastvere village
According to Delfi.ee, police received a report of a conflict in Erastvere village in Kanepi municipality on Saturday morning. Police patrols who arrived at the scene attempted to make contact with the man who remained in the house, but discovered that 36-year-old Rauli had left the house and run into the forest.
Police have reason to believe that Rauli may behave unpredictably and pose a threat. Several patrols are participating in the search of the terrain, including auxiliary police officers and a police dog.
Rauli is approximately 180 cm tall with a sturdy build, is sharp-featured, and has a scar above his mouth. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue jumper.
Police ask anyone who sees the man or knows his whereabouts to call 112 immediately. Do not approach Rauli directly.
