18-year-old arrested over murder of plastic surgeon in Marbella
An 18-year-old has been detained over the death of Dr Alexander Aslani, a German plastic surgeon who was shot dead at his clinic in Marbella on Wednesday evening.

An 18-year-old was detained on Thursday morning in connection with the murder of Dr Alexander Aslani, according to The Olive Press. The German plastic surgeon, 57, received multiple gunshots to the head when a masked attacker burst into his clinic located in the Real Panorama urbanisation, on the eastern edge of Marbella.
Dr Aslani was founder and owner of the specialist clinic Cirumed, where he had been practising for almost 20 years. His patient portfolio was composed of 70 per cent British clients, according to court proceedings from 2021. Paramedics arrived quickly at the scene but were unable to stabilise him, and he died shortly before 18:00 on Wednesday.
The attacker, dressed entirely in black with a hood, entered the surgery and deliberately fired at the doctor. The National Police made the arrest on Thursday afternoon. The case is under judicial secrecy, which prevents official sources from providing additional details for the time being.
