Arrested in Granollers for two gold chain robberies by snatching within 24 hours

Google News ES — Crime (es) reports that the Mossos d'Esquadra detained a 22-year-old youth on 26 August as the alleged perpetrator of two gold chain robberies committed by snatching in Granollers within the space of one day.
The first incident occurred on 18 August, when a woman accessing the entrance to her home was approached from behind and had the gold pendant she was wearing around her neck taken from her. A day later, a man reported that two individuals grabbed him from behind when he arrived at his house and snatched a gold chain from him.
The police investigation made it possible to identify two people allegedly linked to both robberies. Officers proceeded to arrest one of them.
On 27 August, the Mossos searched the suspect's home. During the operation they found another man inside who, although he would not be related to the robberies, was arrested after 80 grammes of cocaine were found at the location.
Both detainees were placed at the disposal of the courts on 30 August. The first faces charges for two counts of robbery with violence; the second is accused of an offence against public health.
The Catalan police maintain an open investigation and do not rule out further arrests related to the robberies.
