Man arrested in Sangüesa with speed, cocaine, cannabis resin and €890 in cash
Spain's Civil Guard in Navarre arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of drug trafficking on the NA-2420 road near Sangüesa.

The Civil Guard in Navarre detained a 49-year-old man on suspicion of committing an offence against public health on the NA-2420 road near Sangüesa, according to noticiasdenavarra.com. A citizens' security patrol detected suspicious movements inside the vehicle and proceeded to stop it to identify its occupants.
As officers approached the car, they detected a strong smell of marijuana coming from inside, which prompted them to search the driver. Several packets containing substances identified on appearance as speed, cocaine, cannabis resin and marijuana were found in his possession, along with €890 in cash. An additional quantity of marijuana was also found among the detainee's belongings.
Subsequent weighing of the seized drugs yielded approximately 132 grammes of speed, 31 grammes of cannabis resin, 18 grammes of cocaine and 13 grammes of marijuana.
The distribution of the substances in small doses divided into separate packets, along with other evidence observed during the operation, led to the driver's arrest. Two mobile phones were also seized during the operation. The van used, the cash and the other seized items were placed at the disposal of the courts.
