The arrest took place approximately a month after the previous incident involving this 48-year-old man. On 22 July, he allegedly fired shots in the air in the Pescadores neighbourhood of Tordesillas. The Civil Guard opened an investigation at that time, identifying him as the main suspect in those events.
Sources consulted by the newspaper indicate that episodes of this nature have been perpetrated by the same person in recent years, months and weeks. "He has many people terrified," they emphasised anonymously.
The man, originally from Salamanca and settled in Tordesillas for some time, has a criminal record linked to drug trafficking. His more distant past, from nearly twenty years ago, places him within the orbit of the 'Los Carro' clan, led by drug trafficker Amancio García Carro. In that context he was tried in Valladolid as part of the 2009 'Lobezno' operation, for which he served a sentence of five years in prison.
The arrest could help advance or close open investigations related to drug trafficking in the area.
