Minor arrested with drug distribution materials

According to elnortedecastilla.es, Valladolid Municipal Police detained a 17-year-old youth in Las Moreras park as a suspected perpetrator of small-scale drug trafficking. The events occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the skateboarding practice area, next to La Rosaleda, where a patrol observed a group of young people who appeared to be consuming narcotics.

After identifying the group and carrying out superficial body searches, officers seized a joint and plant material from one of the girls, who received an administrative fine. Attention then turned to the minor, in whose rucksack they found approximately 20 grammes of hashish, although the teenager denied ownership of the bag.

Evidence against the detainee's account

The denial was contradicted when a train ticket and medication in the minor's name were found inside the rucksack, along with his mobile phone charger. One of his companions spontaneously stated that the young man was engaged in "trafficking drugs". During the police hearing, 60 grammes of marijuana, 32 white pills, two pink pills, a precision scale, a grinder for chopping substances, four zip-lock bags and cash were seized.

The detained youth's mobile phone received insistent calls from numbers not saved in contacts, an additional indication for investigators regarding small-scale drug sales.
