Second suspect arrested in deadly shooting in Almería
The National Police have captured the second person implicated in the death of a man shot in the Pescadería neighbourhood. Both detainees will appear before a judge on Monday.
Second arrest in Pescadería homicide
The National Police arrested the second person implicated in the homicide that occurred on Friday 16 October in Pescadería, a neighbourhood in Almería. According to 20minutos.es, the arrest was carried out on Sunday without incident, following the detention of the first suspect on the same Friday as the crime.
Both detainees will be brought before a judge during the morning of Monday. Police investigations indicate that the death was caused by a bullet impact to the victim's neck, an incident allegedly linked to drug trafficking in the area.
The shooting adds to another murder that occurred two days earlier: on Wednesday 14 October, a municipal cleaning service worker was shot dead in the Sector 20 industrial estate during the early hours of the morning, as he was leaving his workplace.
