Two arrested with stolen goods from bar raid in Córdoba's Judería

The National Police arrested two people in Córdoba as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force at a hospitality establishment in the Judería district, according to ABC. Officers caught them early on Friday morning whilst loading into the boot of a car the items they had just stolen from the premises.

A patrol conducting surveillance duties observed the situation: one man was displaying suspicious behaviour next to the parked vehicle whilst another was transferring objects to the back of the car. Upon noticing the police presence, both individuals attempted to go unnoticed, which prompted officers to identify them and question them about their activity.

During an inspection of the vehicle, police officers found a significant quantity of drinks and food products. Subsequent checks allowed them to locate a hospitality establishment nearby with clear signs of having been forced open, whose products matched those found in the boot.

Both were arrested as alleged perpetrators of a robbery with force. The police intervention made it possible to recover almost all of the stolen items, which were returned to the business owner.

Subsequent investigation revealed that one of those arrested would be linked to three other robberies committed at establishments in the Ciudad Jardín neighbourhood. He is attributed with similar incidents at a café, a clothing shop and a beauty salon business. Furthermore, this individual was subject to a prior court claim for another crime against property.
