Two men arrested in Pamplona for sexual assault
According to diariodenavarra.es, Pamplona Municipal Police have detained two men for their alleged involvement in multiple sexual assaults against a young homeless woman of sub-Saharan origin in the Aranzadi area. The incidents occurred in recent days in two tents situated close to each other, with the most recent occurring on Saturday night.
Both tents remained sealed on Saturday, with Municipal Police patrols in the area to prevent access. It was planned that officers from the Policía Nacional's forensic science unit would carry out a technical inspection of the locations.
The victim, who has been living in Pamplona for approximately one month, filed a report. The investigation aims to clarify the circumstances of the alleged assaults and determine whether she was also forced into prostitution. The two detainees are of Maghrebi origin and are also homeless.
The incident occurs in a context of increased numbers of homeless encampments in recent months. Municipal Police intervened on Saturday at various points in Aranzadi due to several incidents, including fights and robberies.
