Civil Guard arrests two young men for assault with glass at Corella festivities
Two arrested for aggravated assault following attack in the early morning of 20 September. The victim suffered wounds to the neck and chin that required nine stitches.

Assault resolved at Navarran festivities
According to El Confidencial, the Civil Guard of Navarra has resolved an assault that occurred in the early morning of 20 September in Corella, during concerts preceding the rocket launch of the local festivities. At around 04.00 hours, a confrontation broke out between the victim and three young men that continued in a second encounter in a nearby street.
In the second clash, several of those involved were carrying broken glass bottles. The assault left wounds to the victim's neck and chin, in addition to widespread bruising. The injured party required medical attention with nine stitches: six in the neck and three in the chin.
Officers from the Civil Guard post in Corella, in coordination with the Local Police, reconstructed the sequence of events and identified the participants. Two young men, aged 21 and 19, have been arrested as the alleged perpetrator and co-perpetrator of aggravated assault. A third person involved, a minor under 16 years old, has been identified.
The proceedings against the detained individuals were referred to the Civil and Investigative Section of the District Court of Tudela acting as duty court. Proceedings relating to the minor were transferred to the Public Prosecutor's Office for Minors in Pamplona.
