Four drug sales points dismantled in Valladolid and Zamora following two anonymous reports
According to Google News ES — Crime (es), Civil Guard officers have dismantled four drug distribution points in the provinces of Valladolid and Zamora as part of the so-called operation 'Celatar', which has resulted in four people arrested and the remand in custody of the presumed head of the criminal group.
The investigated individuals operated mainly in the municipalities of San Pedro de Latarce and Villanueva de los Caballeros, both in the province of Valladolid, and in Villalpando, in the province of Zamora. In total, four sales points were identified: two in San Pedro de Latarce, one in Villanueva de los Caballeros and another in Villalpando.
The investigation began in August 2025 following two anonymous reports that alerted the authorities to the individuals involved, the locations and the methods used in the trafficking operations. Public collaboration was decisive for the start of the inquiry.
On 31 August, officers carried out two residential searches and one at a premises in San Pedro de Latarce where the presumed group leader resided. During this operation, drugs were seized and the suspect was arrested. More than thirty Civil Guard officers from various specialisms in Valladolid participated in the operation.
Among the items seized were 265 grammes of cocaine, over €30,000 in cash, a vehicle allegedly used for criminal activities and various material for the preparation and distribution of doses. The estimated value of the substances seized on the illicit market could have exceeded €15,000.
The presumed head was, according to investigations, responsible for supplying drugs to the rest of the group and for laundering the profits obtained. Officers determined that he maintained a lifestyle not consistent with his declared income.
The four arrested individuals were brought before the judicial authority, which ordered the remand in custody of the leader of the organisation. The seized vehicles were placed at the disposal of the court.
