Last Friday, police detained a 60-year-old man born in Italy in Isla Cristina, just a few kilometres from Huelva. The measure was taken after the body of his girlfriend, 47 years old and of German origin, was discovered with puncture wounds. However, the detention was not pursued.
According to spokespeople for the Guardia Civil who spoke to ANSA, the investigation has ordered the suspect to be released. Forensic police specialists finished examining the residence where the incident occurred. Additionally, the experts submitted their initial forensic medical conclusions to the case file. It was then that the court opted for the provisional release of the suspect.
