Three arrested for stealing 25 high-end mobile phones in Arroyomolinos
The Civil Guard arrested three people after taking devices valued at €14,000 from a shopping centre in Madrid. The vehicle used in the robbery was located in Toledo.
Coordinated robbery at Madrid shopping centre
According to El Confidencial, the Civil Guard has arrested three individuals for their involvement in the theft of 25 high-end mobile phones from a store in a shopping centre in Arroyomolinos. The value of the stolen devices amounts to approximately €14,000.
The incident occurred on 3 October, when the suspects acted in a coordinated manner within the establishment. The perpetrators used a distraction directed at the worker to take the handsets without being immediately noticed.
During the investigation, Civil Guard officers located in Toledo the vehicle that they allegedly used to travel to the Madrid shopping centre. On 6 October, after locating the suspects in the Toledo locality, the Civil Guard proceeded with their arrest.
The three detainees are accused of the theft of the 25 high-end handsets. The Civil Guard Headquarters confirmed that all stolen devices were recovered during the operation.
