During searches carried out at both the police premises and his private residence, investigators found cocaine and material intended for the preparation and retail sale of the drug.
The municipality has issued a statement indicating that, as the matter is in the preliminary investigation phase, it will not provide additional information about the arrested person or the specific scope of the ongoing investigation.
In response to these events, the local government team has initiated disciplinary administrative proceedings and imposed provisional measures—precautionary intervention in the employment relationship, suspension of salary, collection of the service firearm and the document certifying his professional status—with the aim of ensuring the proper delivery of public service and safeguarding public trust in institutions.
The municipality has also stated that it will maintain its collaboration with the competent authorities and will take appropriate decisions as the criminal case and the open administrative file progress.
